    Launcher only

    Small file: the launcher downloads the whole game (about 5.5 GB) and keeps it up to date. Put HnHLauncher.exe in an empty folder, not in Program Files, and click Install. If your connection drops, open it again and it picks up where it stopped.

Installation

  1. 1Create your account on this site and confirm your e-mail (the game cannot create accounts).
  2. 2Download the full client and extract it to a folder without accents, e.g. C:\HnH\Hero. Or download only the launcher, put it in an empty folder and click Install: it downloads the game.
  3. 3Open HnHLauncher.exe. If Windows asks for permission, allow it.
  4. 4Wait for “Server online” and click Play.
  5. 5Log in with the username and password of your confirmed account.

Linux and Steam Deck (optional)

Use Faugus Launcher, which runs the client through Proton without setting up Wine by hand. Install it from Flathub (on Steam Deck, from Discover), add HnHLauncher.exe with the default Proton and click Play. On virtual machines, turn off Shadows and Motion blur if the game closes at character select.
