Installing the client

Requirements

Windows 10 or 11, 4 GB RAM and 3 GB of free disk space. On Linux and Steam Deck, see Playing on Linux with Faugus.

Step by step

1. Create your account and confirm your e-mail. The game does not create accounts: the site username and password are the same in game.
2. Download the Full client from the Download page.
3. Extract it to a folder without accents or unusual characters, e.g. C:\HnH\Hero. Avoid Program Files, which needs administrator rights to write.
4. Open HnHLauncher.exe.
5. Wait for Server online and click Play.

Graphics settings

In the launcher's Settings you choose resolution, window mode, view distance, shadows and other effects. On weaker computers, turn off shadows, motion blur and bloom first.

If your antivirus blocks the launcher or the game, add the game folder to its exclusions. Only download the client from the official site.
